Denmark 1 – England 2 (International friendly, February 9, 2011) (Alternative highlights & Official highlights.) Denmark breached the England defence after just seven minutes, a fine cross from home starlet Christian Eriksen was headed home by Liverpool centre-half Daniel Agger. The Three Lions showed good character to level within two minutes of going behind, Walcott broke down the right and the Arsenal winger sent a low cross to the back post where Darren Bent stabbed home. (Both first half goals here.) Midway through the second half England took the lead for the first time in the match, Ashley Young sidefooted home after Glen Johnson had won the ball high up the pitch.
