NBA Basketball Betting: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Orlando Magic - Kobe Bryant In a rematch of the 2009 NBA Finals, the Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic will throw down on Monday night. It's a match up that NBA basketball betting fans will look forward to.
The Los Angeles Lakers (47-20, 33-34 ATS) are 9-1 in their past 10 games, with the lone setback being a loss in Miami last week. Los Angeles beat Dallas 96-91 on Saturday, though, to close out a very successful four-game road trip. The team covered against the Mavs, improving to 8-2 ATS in its last 10 games, and kicks off a seven-game home stand with Monday’s game.
The win over Dallas wasn’t without drama. Kobe Bryant landed awkwardly after a third-quarter shot attempt. Bryant thought he dislocated his ankle, but he was able to return to the game after a short break. He made just six of his 20 field goal attempts, though, and finished with 16 points.
Andrew Bynum was the hero against Dallas. He racked up 22 points and 15 rebounds, continuing a very nice little streak. Bynum has double-doubles in three straight games; he’s been incredible on the glass lately, averaging 15.4 boards over his last five games.
Orlando (42-25, 29-36-2) has won three of its last four after crushing Phoenix 111-88 on Sunday. The Magic haven’t been very sharp against the spread lately, but the romp in Phoenix ended a four-game losing streak.
