Rangers beat Killie courtesy of Clancy’s clanger
Rangers 2 – Kilmarnock 1 (SPL, March 13, 2011) Rangers broke the deadlock in the 38th minute when El Hadji Diouf received Steven Whittaker’s pass in the box and fired home from the right-hand side of the box. Killie levelled on the hour when Richard Foster was penalised for his challenge on Tim Clancy and Jamie Hamill kept his cool to find the net from the spot. Three minutes from time Rangers netted a winner, Tim Clancy slid in to make a clearance but he unfortunately only managed to steer the ball into his own net
