Milan - Alexandre Pato did not require surgery after the injury a dislocated shoulder. But Brazilian striker had to rest until about five weeks.
Pato get the injury time for AC Milan in the final party in Serie A with Udinese face. In a match that ended 0-0, the Pato dropped by not fitting so that the shoulder joint position shifted.
Immediately after the incident, shoulders straight Pato justified his position. But a series of tests to be done on Tuesday (05/24/2011) local time.
"There are no complications. After consultation with Professor Taverna, a shoulder specialist, it was decided there should be no surgery," Milan said in a statement quoted by the Italian Football.
"Pato will undergo a recovery program that aims to restore his condition within four to five weeks ahead," continued the statement.
The shoulder injury has made Pato otherwise absent in the Copa America. Milan itself announced that it will be evaluated again before the final squad for Brazil's national team was decided.
"The participation of the relevant players in the Copa America will be re-evaluated between Milan and the Brazilian medical staff at the end of June,"concluded the Milan statement.
