"There is no personal problem with Carlos. If I have that problem then I would say that Carlos will not be elected forever,"said Batista.
Tevez name is not included in the Argentina squad for the match in the Copa America which begins July 1 next. Batista reasoned that he already had a front-line qualified by Lionel Messi and Gonzalo Higuain.
"For the Copa America difficult circumstances, but he (Tevez) is not crossed out, I did not strike out anyone. I do not know if he calls me, honestly. I'll talk to him in the next few days and we'll see,"continued Batista answered complaints Tevez who claim that efforts to contact him always failed.
As evidence that he had no personal problem with Tevez, Batista said that the former West Ham United and Manchester United will be back to strengthen Argentina in World Cup qualification.
On the same occasion Batista also voiced regret over the comments related to the case with Maradona, Tevez. Maradona said yesterday was just a drunk who does not include Tevez in his squad.
